The Challenge is planned for Saturday however it may be held on Sunday for best conditions.

The Programme Is Subject To Change.

Read all conditions, start times and view the alternate course before event day.
Start times have been coincided to allow travel time to the event and return home the same day.
Course will be reversed if there are strong head winds.
Course announced on this website and Facebook page at 6pm, 5th of May.
All competitors will be emailed and SMS the course by 6pm Friday.
Any late changes to the event will be announced on the CHALLENGE Facebook page and SMS to you before 6am on event day.
A combined  start at Lakes Entrance for both courses and finish at Metung if the event was reversed.
If the Saturday event is to be rescheduled for Sunday, an announcement will be made by 6am Saturday.
There are three alternate courses that may be used in most extreme weather conditions.
The North Arm at Lakes Entrance.    The Tambo River at Johnsonville.    The Mitchell River at Bairnsdale.
Saturdays presentation and lucky draw starts at 4pm (5pm if course reversed) at the Lakes Entrance Surf Life Saving Club.
You must complete the course and be at the presentation to go into the lucky draw.
The pre paid spit roast meal will  start at 5pm after the presentation and lucky draw.

Alternate course Sunday.

The Paddle Challenge will either start at Metung and finish at Lakes Entrance,
The foot bridge at Lakes Entrance and complete a return paddle to the top end of the North Arm,
Or start at Apex Park and complete a return paddle to the top end of the North Arm
Both the Paynesville and Metung course will be a 15km paddle.
The event will not be reversed on Sunday.
The event will then start at 8am at either course.
All presentations will be held earlier if possible.
Club facilities, including the bar will be opened on both days.
